Major Maurice A. Parker
1902 - 1985
When seasons turn, and flowers bloom
Forgotten heroes in their grave

As days and years fade away
Will eyes and hearts go blind
When seasons turn, and shadows loom
The muffled cries of broken men
Linger in the morning mist
In search of restful sleep & peace
As they found within the tomb

As days and years fade away
Your memories will remain
Though seasons turn, and flowers bloom
Spring forth to life, the old renew
Fathers, brothers and lifelong friends
Within us all, you have a harbor safe
So lay to rest your tears & pain

We will always remember.
